You do not have access to download software from off campus.

It is recommended that you download the software from any PC on campus to a USB stick/drive, or burn it to a DVD, so that you can take it home to install. You can also download the software via the University WiFi on a laptop, however the WiFi can be slow and unreliable for larger downloads in busier places as you are sharing the connection with several other people.

Distance Learners, or anyone else who requires off-site access, please do the following:

• Visit the IT Service Desk website at www.itservicedesk.bham.ac.uk and login
• Click 'Make a Request'
• Click 'Request External Access to MySoftware' and submit the request form.
